Provider Bio
Dr. Tara Pagliaro is an accomplished speech-language pathologist whose career began in the classroom as an elementary school teacher. Inspired by the urgent and unmet needs of her students, she transitioned into the field of speech-language pathology and earned her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she developed a deep understanding of language disorders and their impact on learning.
Tara’s dedication to professional growth led her to pursue an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Special Education with a specialization in Language and Literacy from Simmons College. This advanced training became the foundation for founding Links to Learning, LLC, where she serves as a licensed reading specialist, CERI Certified Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Interventionist, evaluator, and consultant. She works across all grade levels, from early childhood through high school, and is recognized for her skill in identifying and supporting complex language and learning profiles.
Tara was an adjunct professor at Bay Path University and Southern Connecticut State University, where she taught graduate courses in language disorder and assessment in the reading and literacy programs. Her clinical work has focused on supporting students with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, executive functioning challenges, and various complex profiles requiring interprofessional intervention. Over the past two decades, she has worked across public and private school systems, as well as early intervention programs, providing services and consultation to students with developmental language disorders and diverse learning needs. She has developed and delivered professional development and mentorship for school-based teams and interventionists in public, private, and therapeutic day school settings. Tara earned her Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, where she deepened her expertise and contributed to the advancement of evidence-based practices.
Driven by a passion for educational equity and systemic change, Tara is a fierce advocate for students’ right to read, communicate, and thrive. Her mission is grounded in the belief that every learner deserves access to skilled instruction, meaningful communication, and the opportunity to build a strong sense of self.
