Shonda has been in the field of education since 1997 when she graduated with her degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. Her elementary classroom experience as well as secondary reading therapy experience make her a well-rounded therapist. Shonda has also devoted a number of years to professional development for teachers of reading in Alabama and Texas.
