Avansert Phonics works with homeschool, private school and public school students using an explicit, multi-sensory, sequential approach to literacy known as the Orton-Gillingham approach. This approach was designed for dyslexics but it works for all students.

Avansert Phonics offers learning assessments/dyslexia screenings and private O-G tutoring. In addition, cursive handwriting, grammar and custom designed literature classes are available.

The owner, Ms. Debbie, loves teaching kids how to crack the code of English. She believes all children can enjoy learning to read and write. She creates custom literacy games and incorporates them into every lesson plan. She loves finding the perfect books to read with her students. Her mission includes talking to struggling readers about their strengths such as creativity, critical thinking and leadership skills.
