Dr. Jennifer Roig is the co-head of school at The Roig Academy, a private school in Miami, Florida, specializing in instruction for students with language-based learning disabilities such as dyslexia. With over 35 years of experience in special education, literacy, and professional learning, Dr. Roig currently serves as the school’s Literacy Architect for Implementation and Research. In this role, she leads the design and implementation of evidence-based literacy frameworks aligned with the Science of Reading. She supports their implementation through ongoing professional learning and instructional coaching.

Dr. Roig earned her Ed.D. from the University of Florida, where her research focused on dyslexia and professional learning.
