Elizabeth is a career educator who has worked with public, private, and independent learning institutions throughout the Americas and Europe. As Founder & CEO of Manhattan Speech, Language, & Literacy, LLC, Elizabeth is committed to utilizing the most current research-based practices in her instruction.
Manhattan SLL's expertise lies at the intersection of language & learning. As a New York state licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Teacher PK-12, Elizabeth brings a fresh and unique perspective to assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of Language Disorder, Specific Learning Disability, and their interrelatedness.
Elizabeth is certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and the New York State Department of Education. She is an Associate member of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators and a Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Specialist through CERI. Elizabeth serves an adjunct graduate professor of reading disabilities & clinical externship supervisor at the City University of New York, Hunter College.
Currently, Elizabeth is completing her doctorate degree.
