I have been a special education teacher for over 25 years. I worked with students in early elementary grades in small group reading remediation. I became a Director of Special Education during my career. I chose an early retirement in 2020 from my full time position at a local school district and have returned to teaching students how to read as a Wilson Certified instructor. I continually pursue professional development in the area of the Science of Reading and reading remediation programs.
