Hello. My name is Jennifer Cark, and I have a Bachelor's and Master's in Early Childhood Education. I have been a special education reading teacher for seven years. I also have 14 years of experience as a teacher in general education and pre-k classrooms. I work to enhance a student's reading ability through inclusive support and comprehensive lessons that target the skills my student requires to become a successful reader. I am very patient, whether in a one-to-one setting or a small group, to achieve reading goals. I am effective in utilizing Orton-Gillingahm's teaching methods to support reading success. Students learn to read differently; therefore, they need support and encouragement to achieve their reading goals. I tailor my instruction to the individual needs of my students, using instruction that is structured, explicit, and multisensory, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic ways of learning. I'm committed to helping my students reach their full potential.
