I'm a passionate educator who loves to help my students grow and love learning! I have experience in both general education and special education including inclusion and small group as well as supplemental instruction. I have my Masters in Special Education with a focus on reading. Recently I also became certified to teach Orton Gillingham with the Institute for Multisensory Education. OG is multisensory, explicit and systematic which helps make learning hands-on and accessible to all learners. The progress I have seen by using OG with students has been phenomenal. My goal for my students is to want to be life-long learners and so I am always pushing myself to learn more as well to set this example for them.
