I will be starting a new role in the fall of 2023 as a literacy specialist at the middle school level after having served as a literacy teacher at the K-2 level for the past 2 years. Previously I taught kindergarten and 2nd grade for a combined 14 years. I completed and IDA structured literacy specialized tier 2 and tier 3 instruction course as well as Orton Gillingham Classroom Educator training. This year I plan to complete Associate level training and practicum with the goal of beginning an OG associate and Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist in 2024.
