Analisa taught second and fourth grade in Albuquerque, New Mexico before moving to Oregon to obtain her master's in early childhood special education at the University of Oregon. She worked in educational research as an interventionist at a private research firm in Eugene, Oregon before moving back to New Mexico. She received her dyslexia interventionist training through the AIM Institute of Research and Learning. She is passionate about improving literacy outcomes in New Mexico and is currently working as a reading interventionist in the public schools and as a private reading tutor.
