Ellen Savage is a Certified Orton-Gillingham Practitioner (A/OGA) and Certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist (C-SLDI) with over 29 years of experience as a Speech and Language Specialist, Special Educator, and Reading Specialist. She holds a B.A. in Communication Disorders from Bridgewater State College, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and Special Education from Boston College, and extensive advanced training in structured literacy, phonological awareness, and evidence-based reading instruction, including LETRS Units 1–8 and Advanced Orton-Gillingham. Ellen has presented professional development on the Science of Reading, differentiation, close reading, vocabulary development, written language, and spelling. She is an active member of the Orton-Gillingham Academy, The Reading League, International Dyslexia Association, and multiple literacy organizations, committed to empowering educators and supporting all students in achieving literacy success.
