Provider Bio

Marie has been a teacher for 14 years. After spending 11 years in the classroom, in both 2nd Grade and Kindergarten, she transitioned into a role as a Title I Intervention Teacher. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Special Education. She recently became SLANT (Structured Literacy Training) Certified and completed her SLANT Practicum. Located in Aroostook County in far northern Maine, Marie loves helping children find their confidence and learn to trust themselves as they crack the code of reading. When she's not teaching she enjoys paddle boarding and being outside with family.
