I’m passionate about creating educational environments where every learner is empowered and everyone—parents, educators, and students—has the opportunity to thrive. My work focuses on ensuring that education is accessible, equitable, and driven by a deep understanding of how children learn to read. As a certified structured literacy classroom teacher, I use research-based approaches to ensure that all students can develop strong reading skills, regardless of their background or learning needs.

I have expertise in foundational literacy concepts and developing both oral and written language. I understand language structure and can recognize reading difficulties like dyslexia early, allowing for targeted interventions. My instruction is systematic and explicit, built around structured literacy practices that meet students where they are and help them grow confidently in their reading abilities.

I’m also dedicated to working closely with parents, helping them become confident partners in their child’s literacy journey. I offer personalized coaching, practical strategies, and tools to help families support their child’s learning at home, fostering a sense of shared progress and success.

My goal is always to create a warm and encouraging learning environment where students feel safe taking risks and celebrating their reading milestones. I’m here to guide educators and families in navigating this journey, helping every student build a foundation for lifelong learning.
