Provider Bio

Connie obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Pennsylvania State University in 1993, and her Master's Degree in Special Education from Duquesne University in 1996. Connie also holds a Principal K-12 certification through the University of Pittsburgh.

Connie joined the APPLE Group as a Connections trained teacher in 2021. Connie currently uses Connection O-G in 3D in an elementary learning support setting, as well as in private therapy. Connie finished the Dyslexia Therapy Program with The APPLE Group in the summer of 2024, earning her Certified Dyslexia Specialist certification.

Connie has experience both in the regular education and special education setting, and has serviced students with specific learning disabilities, as well as students with dyslexia, for the past 28 years. Connie is passionate about teaching children to read, and believes the Connections O-G in 3D program is the most comprehensive and well-rounded program for students with dyslexia.
