Katy Woods is a dedicated reading tutor with over 14 years of experience in education. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply passionate about equipping children with the foundational skills they need to become confident, capable readers. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, with a strong emphasis on early identification and targeted intervention.

Katy is an IMSE Orton-Gillingham Certified Educator, bringing structured, multisensory instruction to her students. She specializes in providing comprehensive evaluations of reading skills, using the results to design and deliver highly individualized instruction tailored to each learner’s unique needs.

Currently, Katy is advancing her expertise in literacy as a doctoral student in the Reading Science program at Mount St. Joseph University. Her commitment to ongoing professional growth and research-based instruction ensures that the students she supports receive the highest quality of reading intervention.
