Provider Bio
I am a Georgia native, born and raised in Macon, Georgia. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Valdosta State University in 1998 and went on to receive a Master of Arts in Audiology at The University of Tennessee in 2000. In August 2008, I earned a clinical doctorate in audiology (Au.D.) from Salus University. As a practicing audiologist for 24 years, I am licensed audiologist in the state of Georgia and am a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
My daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia in 2018. As a mother and clinician, I dove into the research and literature to find the best means to help my daughter with her learning differences. Along the journey, I have been truly inspired by children with learning differences and have taken numerous courses to expand my knowledge of reading support, executive function, handwriting and working memory. I obtained the Orton Gillingham Academy's associate level certification in 2022.
I live in Peachtree Corners with my husband and daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, reading, travel and hanging out with our 3 dogs (Libby, Annabelle and Max).
