Provider Bio

Amy Carroll is a lifelong learner. Amy was inspired to build her literacy knowledge with the birth of her two children. Since attending Florida Atlantic University, Amy has been an educator for 24 years and is currently an MTSS coach serving students on the elementary level. Most of all, her passion resides in meeting the needs of dyslexic students. Earning her Orton Gillingham Associate’s certification in 2022 gave her a new focus on helping students achieve their literacy goals. She has loved seeing how systematic and explicit instruction improves the confidence in students. To stay current in best practices for dyslexic students, Amy completed a Certificate of Dyslexia from the University of Florida. Amy hopes to improve the lives of others by supporting struggling readers with her patient yet focused demeanor. She is accepting new tutoring students online or in person.
