Mandy Horton Walker serves dynamic learners, ages 5 through adulthood who struggle with reading especially students with dyslexia, by tutoring students and by training teachers. Mandy's credentials include Wilson Reading System Level II certification, Wilson Dyslexia Therapist (WDT), and University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning Strategic Instruction Model (KU-CRL: SIM) Learning Strategies and Content Enhancement Routines Professional Developer certification. Mandy earned her M.Ed. from FAU, and has taught in a variety of settings. She is an active member of the International Dyslexia Association-Florida Branch, The Reading League-Florida Branch, Love2Read.org and her Church. She and her husband enjoy spending time with family and friends. Whether serving students or coaching colleagues, Mandy is passionate about reaching and teaching literacy with and to all! She believes that every age and every stage of learning is the best. We know it is never too late to learn to read. Now is the perfect time to love to read!
