I have achieved certification as a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT), with expertise in Multisensory Structured Language Education, Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, Wilson Language, Take Flight (Scottish Rite Hospital), and S.P.I.R.E., which are all Orton-Gillingham dyslexia specific interventions. Also, I have attained Board Certification as an Educational Therapist (BCET), a post-master's degree certification requiring rigorous additional coursework, 2000 supervised therapy hours, and a case study. My areas of expertise include assessment and treatment of dyslexia and related learning disorders. With 25 years' experience in public schools, residential treatment facilities, and in private practice, I have successfully treated scores of students with reading disabilities.
