I am passionate and dedicated to empowering students to learn the "code" of reading using the Wilson Reading System. On this journey, my tutoring students learn about the six syllable types through research based, multi-sensory instruction from a very engaging, energetic and dedicated coach...me! I have dual certification and a Masters degree in Elementary Education and Special Education and have been teaching and privately tutoring in the field for 15 years. My philosophy in teaching is to show my students their incredible strengths while doing whatever it takes to teach that student through positive encouragement and research based instruction used with fidelity.
