I specialize in screening and tutoring students with dyslexia and consulting with parents, teachers, and school administrators on the dyslexic learner. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Secondary Education from Western Oregon State University, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Pacific University. I am certified to teach in Oregon and have over 25 years experience in public schools in teaching Language Arts, Social Studies, and Reading. I am a Certified Dyslexia Screener, a Certified Structured Literacy Teacher, and a private tutor. As President of the Oregon Branch of The International Dyslexia Association, I continually seek to update my knowledge of best practices by attending workshops and conferences. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and reading.
