Provider Bio

Jane Conroy is a certified Dyslexia Specialist with 8 years of working as a Special Education Teacher. After graduating from Wilmington University with a B.S in Elementary Education/ Special Education, Jane went on to teach Language Arts and Math for grades K-6. In May of 2017, Jane graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University as a Dyslexia Specialist. She also holds a certification through the International Dyslexia Association and meets the requirements of knowledge and experience for effective reading instruction. During these experiences, she has chosen to help children in many ways, such as serving on the Intervention and Referral Services Team, Literacy Committee, Teacher Academy, Response to Intervention interventionist, facilitating professional development, and developing curriculum and assessments.
Jane is continuously seeking new professional development opportunities and researching best practices to implement with her students. She is constantly reflecting and working towards improving her instruction so all of her students succeed.
