Karen Shaddeau is currently an Adult Education (GED) English instructor, ESOL instructor, and a Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Specialist through the International Dyslexia Association. Mrs. Shaddeau was a Professionally Certified Educational Therapist for seven years through the National Institute for Learning Development. She holds a Master’s Degree in English Education from Florida State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Florida. She has taught students of all ages and skill levels from 1st grade through adulthood and has taught college composition at the community college and university level, GED English, English as a Second Language and more. Additionally, Mrs. Shaddeau is the mother of a child with dyslexia and dysgraphia.
