I currently live in the South Florida area and work in my local public school district as a Reading Specialist and Instructional Coach for the Exceptional Student Education department. My passion is all things literacy and working with people with language based learning disabilities. I have been a classroom elementary teacher, special education teacher, gifted teacher, and educational consultant overseas. Currently serving on the Florida branch International Dyslexia Association branch, I continue to support the mission and vision of the organization in and out of work through supporting people, families and children with language based learning disabilities as well as educators in understanding how to serve students with dyslexia.
