Having had extensive experience working in a variety of settings, I have successfully obtained knowledge and expertise through the specialized education sector in the United Kingdom and Toronto, Canada. Working with multiple disciplines in an educational environment allows each child to have a holistic approach to learning. My experience in the UK enabled me to see this first hand. As a specialist in Toronto, I saw students flourish when their emotional needs were supported while strengthening academic weaknesses. Through intentional intervention students were able to succeed and gain in confidence. I completed a Masters of Education with a specialization in educational therapy through Southeastern University, Florida (US). Building upon this knowledge, I worked full time with families of students with exceptionalities through supporting parents and students, at home and within the school environment.
