Sandra Kozatek is employed as a Special Education Reading Specialist, district wide, in a suburban school district. She has over five years of experience co-teaching literacy within an inclusion setting in Grades 3-5. Her experience includes providing special education services to students with Dyslexia, ADHD, and other disabilities. She has also provided reading intervention support to students experiencing difficulty in reading. She earned a M.Ed. In Special Education, Moderate Disabilities in 2015, as well as a M.Ed. in Reading in 2020. Sandra completed her Structured Literacy, Orton Gillingham Phonological Awareness, Comprehensive, and Intermediate training through the Institute for Multi Sensory Education in July 2021. Sandra was a semi-finalist for Massachusetts Teacher of the Year, 2023.
