Provider Bio

Stacey has over 20 years of experience as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and instructional coach, most recently in Fairfax County Public Schools. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Science degree in Education and  Reading Specialist Certification from McDaniel College. Stacey is also IMSE Orton-Gillingham certified, certified in the Wilson Reading System, and accredited by the IDA as a Dyslexia Practitioner and Structured Literacy Teacher.  She is also a Master Level 3 IMSE Orton-Gillingham Instructor.

Stacey brings to children and their parents the reassurance and confidence that comes from having helped hundreds of children “crack the code” to effective reading and writing.
