My experiences include teaching second grade for 9 years, serving as a Reading Specialist for 4 years, and Orton Gillingham tutor for 5 years. I also developed and taught as an adjunct professor at an Illinois university 3 courses on dyslexia, multi-sensory structured language education, and the structure of English. I've served on an ISBE Reading Specialist Stakeholder committee, IDA's university accreditation team, and am currently Vice President of A.L.T.A. Illinois chapter.
Teaching is my gift, and helping students become better readers and writers is my passion!
