Dr. Tammy Tillotson is, first and foremost, a mom to three incredible sons and wife of 30+ years to Scott. As a longtime member of the Academic Language Therapy Association and International Dyslexia Association, and her personal connection with dyslexia, she has actively worked to raise awareness about issues surrounding dyslexia for more than 20 years. She holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, Advanced Education Specialist, and Doctoral Degree. Dr. Tillotson became a Structured Language trained therapist and instructor to assist her youngest son and other children who face challenges with dyslexia. She provides consultation with school districts throughout the Midwest, private practice instruction with children, and works as a professional learning facilitator with LETRS. Her background and experience in directing and leading nonprofit organizations, training individuals in the science of reading, and coordinating publicity and development campaigns lends well in continuing to raise awareness about dyslexia, create opportunities to expand training and education, and to build resources for parents and professionals who can better support children throughout the country. Dr. Tillotson is a dynamic, high-energy presenter who will energize you into action with a renewed sense of purpose and drive.
