I am a retired Learning Disabilities Specialist. During my career of 29 years, I worked with students with Learning Disabilities, including Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. I worked in the public school setting, grades Kindergarten through Fourth and one year in Eighth. Teaching reading and spelling is my passion, and when a student learns and applies a new skill, we celebrate. Data collection is very important to me to determine if the program I am using is working or if I need to make changes. I am trained in multiple reading programs, including Wilson, SPIRE, Lindamood Bell, RAVE-O and Project Read. I am a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner as well as OG Certified..
