Justine Gibbon is certified as a Dyslexia Specialist through the Center of Effective Reading Instruction and North Dakota Department of Public Instruction and teaches an undergraduate course on dyslexia assessment through the University of North Dakota. Justine earned her Master of Education from North Dakota State University in 2017 and received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Valley City State University and Bachelor of Science Child Development & Family Science from North Dakota State University. She has more than 16 years of experience as a reading specialist, as she works with a wide range of emerging readers, including those with dyslexia. Justine has also served on the board of directors for the International Dyslexia Association – Upper Midwest Branch and has held multiple terms as president of Decoding Dyslexia of North Dakota, a parent advocacy group.
