Program Accreditation

CERI recognizes IDA Accredited Programs, which have undergone a rigorous vetting process designed to ensure that program graduates have mastered core KPS-aligned knowledge and practice competencies associated with preventing reading failure and remediating off track readers- including readers at-risk for, and identified with, Dyslexia.

Essentials
Accreditation is a “seal of approval” that assures the public that your organization’s educator training curriculum and practicum experiences are aligned with the Knowledge and Practice Standards for Teachers of Reading (KPS) sufficient to ensure that program graduates are knowledgeable about, and can apply, the principles and practices of Structured Literacy™ in the service of preventing reading failure and remediating off-track readers with profile characteristic of dyslexia.

Accreditation conveys your organization’s commitment to continuous self-assessment and improvement for the benefit of:

  • Developing readers
  • Educators and clinicians
  • Public and private educational agencies
