I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Mount Saint Joseph University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Miami University. I hold a teaching license for grades 1-8 in Ohio. With 29 years of experience managing self-contained elementary classrooms and small groups, I have developed into a highly effective and accomplished veteran educator. My career has been characterized by a commitment to lifelong learning and the strategic use of innovation, technology, and appropriate direct, explicit intervention to address the educational needs of all students. I am dedicated to establishing robust relationships that foster positive student behavior and growth. As a literacy leader trained in LETRS and an Orton-Gillingham Associate Level Practitioner, I am devoted to broadening and deepening my students' knowledge.
