I am a CERI-certified Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist with over 15 years of experience empowering students of all ages and their families. As a dyslexic individual and a parent of dyslexic children, I understand firsthand the challenges students face and am committed to helping them build confidence, skill, and independence in reading, spelling, and written expression. I hold a Master of Science in Education as a Reading Specialist with Dyslexia Endorsement, and I also hold certifications in Barton Reading & Spelling and Connections-3D. I have pursued additional training through organizations such as IMSE, Atlantic Seaboard Dyslexia Education Center, Dyslexia Training Institute, and Apple Group for Dyslexia to continually enhance my expertise in teaching and advocating for students with dyslexia. Throughout my career, I have worked as a dyslexia coordinator, interventionist, tutor, and educator, guiding both students and parents in understanding dyslexia and fostering a love of learning.
