Provider Bio

Christine has worked as an educator for 25+ years as a high school English teacher, reading specialist, special educator, coach, dylsexia practitioner, advocate. She has training and certifications as a Wilson Practitioner, Orton-Gillingham, Seeing Stars, Project Read, Visualizing Verbalizing, Project Read, Reading with TLC, and more science of reading based programs. Christine now works exclusively as a private practitioner and volunteers on the advisory board of Everyone Reading Illinois helping with dyslexia simulations and education. She also was founding member and secretary of The Reading League Illinois. She has an interest in helping those struggling with literacy finding success as well as access to appropriate literacy services for all. Highly educated and successful with students, she looks forward to helping others find ways to learn utilizing student's strengths and interests. Services are available in person in Gurnee, IL, Winston Salem, NC, Houston, TX, or online.
