Kathy Denious, M.Ed., is a private practitioner and special education teacher with a specialization in language-based learning disabilities. Boasting a robust background in education and psychology, Kathy has devoted her career to assisting individuals with learning disabilities in Phoenix, AZ.
Embarking on her academic journey at Purdue University, Kathy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She subsequently obtained her Master of Education degree, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University. Throughout her educational pursuits, Kathy has concentrated on language-based learning disabilities. This focus led her to complete numerous courses and programs, including the Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program for Reading (LiPS®), LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling), and several course through Landmark School Outreach Professional Development for Educators.
Kathy's expertise transcends her private practice, as she has also provided invaluable service to K-12 students in public and charter schools. Additionally, Kathy is a distinguished public speaker who has presented at a myriad of global and local conferences, addressing the challenges and remediation of language-based learning disabilities.
