Patty is a 13 year resident of Hawaii, having taught students at Hawaii’s public schools since 2012. She is the mother of one amazing child who inspired her to seek her Certified Structured Literacy and Dyslexia Specialist training and credentials, and who was her first reading tutee, so parents can rest assured that her skills were developed with the utmost care and thought as she helped her son persevere through and overcome his own reading struggles.
With undergraduate degrees in Elementary and Special Education as well as Psychology (Southern Connecticut State University, 2009), her ability to teach all levels of students using the Whole Child approach have been enhanced with her additional Master’s of Special Education and Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (University of Hawaii at Manoa, 2017 and 2020). Using a variety of evidence based approaches, Patty will help your child reach their full potential with social emotionally enriched, structured literacy instruction.
