Emma started as a horticulture major at WVU but pivoted to teaching children to read after graduation upon learning how many kids struggle with reading. She has trained in multiple structure word literacy programs including UFLI and Lexercise. She has experience working with children who struggle with dyslexia and ADHD, as well as autism. Emma loves to read and write stories, and she is enthusiastic about sharing her skills as a reading specialist to make kids successful readers.
