After a career as a Physical Therapist, I stepped away to home school my children, one of which has dyslexia. Resources in our community were scarce and expensive. I gleaned what I could and graduated my 2 kids in 2024 after 12 years of homeschooling. The Dyslexia Training Institute prepared me for effective structured literacy intervention and I am now working with other kids that struggle to read and write in my community.
