Ms. Marcus' areas of expertise include assessment and treatment of learning disabilities, dyslexia, Nonverbal Learning Disorders (NLD), and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Specialty areas include treatment for depression, anxiety and stress, and development of healthy parenting strategies.
Ms. Marcus conducts psychoeducational evaluations, investigating the cognitive, academic, social, and neural-processing needs of children, adolescents, and adults.
In addition to working with children, adolescents, and families in a private practice, she lectures nationally on Multiple Intelligences and Assertive Skills. Ms. Marcus develops curricula for Multiple Intelligences that are specific to school settings. She has taught Multiple Intelligences for years at private schools.
