Provides targeted reading instruction and support to individual and small groups of students with complex reading and writing profiles. Has completed extensive supervised practicum experiences dedicated to advancing the literacy profiles of students with Specific Learning Disabilities, including Dyslexia, and is able to serve students who are at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of reading, spelling, and writing instruction. Demonstrates an understanding, appreciation and compassion for students who learn differently.
