Dr. Levitt received an M.S. degree in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience and a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas. She received her graduate certificate and dyslexia remediation training from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Learning Therapy. Her primary research interests reside in voice/speech production, motor speech disorders, different types of feedback methods to speech sound remediation, and neurogenic communication disorders. For literacy, she is a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist (LDT) licensed in Texas and a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT). Also, Dr. Levitt is an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), licensed in Texas and California. She continues her clinical practice through All Speech, LLC.
