With more than 10 years of teaching experience, I am a lifelong learned and lover of literacy. Currently, I am a Senior Education Specialist at the YokyWorks Foundation. I have completed extensive training in phonological awareness, phonics, and fluency using Orton-Gillingham and structured literacy methods, including certifications as a YokyWorks Assistant Education Specialist and YokyWorks Senior Education Specialist. I has been a classroom teacher to students in preschool, 2nd grade, and 4th grade in both public and private school settings. Helping children reach those monumental milestones of discovering how capable they are in their ability to read has always been a passion for me. I look forward to building confidence in her students while providing them with the tools to succeed in their literacy journey.
