Provider Bio

Robin Margent taught for over twenty-five years in pre-school, kindergarten enrichment and public elementary school. She is IMSLEC and CERI certified and currently has a private practice tutoring struggling readers and writers.
Robin is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. After earning her B.S. in Sociology, she obtained a paralegal certification and had a career with the New York Life Insurance Company. While raising her three sons, she opened a word processing business and ultimately decided to get her teaching certification. She taught second grade for many years before becoming the first “looping” teacher in her district, teaching the same class for both first and second grades. She is passionate about her work and loves helping students develop skill in reading and writing as well as working with teachers to improve their literacy teaching.
