Susan is a Lecturer in Early Literacy at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, GA. She spent 25 years teaching kindergarten, first grade, and intervention in the Georgia Public School System. She and her husband have two grown children who struggled to learn to read early in their school careers. The quest to find answers and ways to help them led her on a journey into the world of dyslexia. Susan has a desire to use the knowledge and expertise she's gained to help others "until everyone can read". She believes that dyslexia is a struggle; but with prayer and the right intervention, it can be dealt with successfully.
