Emily Binks-Cantrell, Ph.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor and Co-Chair of the Advanced Literacy Program at Texas A&M University where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in literacy and leads the Reading Specialist program. She serves on the Editorial Board for Annals of Dyslexia and Education Sciences and as an Associate Editor for The Reading League Journal. Her work focuses on teacher knowledge and preparation in structured literacy instruction, and she is a regular author and presenter on the topics of teacher knowledge of and preparation in the science of teaching reading.
