Tiffany Peltier is a Research Scientist in the Collaborative for Student Growth at NWEA. She earned her PhD in Learning Science at the University of Oklahoma and her Masters in Reading and Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M University. Dr. Peltier has served as a Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade teacher, a district literacy coach, a national LETRS trainer, and has contracted with school districts and state departments to develop and implement professional learning around reading and dyslexia. She has also taught undergraduate coursework at both Texas A&M and the University of Oklahoma in reading, elementary education, learning science, and special education. Dr. Peltier has published empirical and practitioner-oriented articles on teacher knowledge of reading instruction, screening, and disabilities, math instruction, and conceptual change in peer-reviewed journals. She serves on the Scientific Editorial Board of the Reading League Journal and actively disseminates research to practitioners through social media platforms and conference presentations.
